I welded the 1st nut on the wheel well. Alternatively, if you want to see it in person, come to our Houston Showroom, located at 71 Esplanade Blvd, Ste. The CDI is still dangling though. Older cars simply have two holes for the bumpers supports to extend through. It, too, is heavy, so good riddance for more than aesthetic reasons. The body was approximately 4 inches wider than the TB and measured at the rear of the doors to give more cockpit space.

I had my helper install the brake backing plates I can also say with relative certainty that I wouldn't have anything to 'compare' my ride to because it is so different. The bumper arrived and was so bent I couldn't even mock it into place. That isn't too bad in my opinion. I neglected to take any pics of the job in progress. I didn't paint the control arms, springs, shocks, etc. To provide improved access to the balancer, a V-shaped cut-out was made in the front crossmember.
Attach the second bolt in a similar fashion so that you have the threaded ends of the two bolts protruding out of the back of the car.
